I wonder if they really broke the power level or if it just seems that way, because the girls do look like they are very strong but they are not really going against the older characters, the only time that happened was in the training arc in beginning of vivid but the teams where mixed up and the adults had limiters. Also in this franchise power level is not absolute, you can use strategy and technique to win against a stronger opponent

The time where a character cut a bus and a number said she couldn’t do the same does show us that this character is strong and have a very powerful technique, but it doesn’t mean she would automatically win against that number. The only one I think you can say could really go toe to toe with Nanoha would be Sieg and maybe Victor, and that’s only because of the specific belkan heritage they have

who knows, I don’t really have a dog in this fight since I haven’t read the manga so I don’t know if it is or not and really I would say the place to fuck around would be a spin off manga, whether it is or not. I will say that I think the main series is doing just fine and I like the addition of limiters when the kids become adults as it kind of just proves that we’re really focusing on the 1% of magic users in the universe, the ones who just happen to be extremely talented and hard working.

The fact that Vivio! can break through Nanoha’s defense and get a hit in, the adult 24 year old Nanoha who learned the TSAB military tactics back to back and has insane barriers, not even 9 year old Nanoha, speaks to me that this girl is too OP. I know she trained hard, but I bet a lot of people who trained hard even within the TSAB still wouldn’t be able to do this.
And Vivio is someone with supposedly low magic, unsuited for combat.
